The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is one of the most respected national-level entrance examinations in India related to postgraduate engineering, technology, architecture, and science programs. Conducted jointly by the IITs and IISc.

GATE 2026 Application Fees
- For Female, SC, ST, and PwD candidates, the fee is ?1,000 (during the regular application period).
- For all other candidates (General, OBC, and EWS), the fee is ?2,000 (during the regular application period).
- There is a late fee of ?500 added for all candidates if applying between September 29, 2025 and October 9, 2025.
